What are the responsibilities of the Primary Account Administrator who activates the VSS account?
Responsibilities of the Primary Account Administrator:
- Grants VSS account access to other individuals in their organization.
- Designates another individual to perform the role of the Primary Account Administrator.
- Primary point of contact to receive all emails related to your account status.
- Primary point of contact for other individuals in your organization requesting VSS account access. (Or a password reset)
What if I do not have access to an email account?

You must provide an email address that you or another authorized member in your organization has access to. If you do not have an email address, you may sign up for a free email service and use that address as a point of contact.
What if I don’t receive the verification email?
- Verify the email address you entered is correct.
- Check your email SPAM folder; the verification email may have been blocked by your email filter and security settings. If the email was blocked, then be sure to add the VSS application's email address to your email contacts. This will prevent the VSS application email from being blocked by your security settings.
What if the wrong email address is displayed on the Verify Email Address page?

The email address displayed on this page is taken from the User Information Page. If this email address is incorrect, the user may simply select the Back button to re-enter the email address with their information.
Why do I have to setup a security question and answer and what is it used for?

The security question and answer are used for added security in the system. They help the system verify you as a valid user in the system. The security question and answer can also be used by the system to verify your identity when you are attempting to modify sensitive or confidential data in the system. You may be requested to answer the security question you defined when registering in VSS if you are making modifications to data in the system that is considered sensitive or confidential.
